East Amherst, NY is a hamlet located 16 miles northeast of downtown Buffalo, NY. It stretches across the towns of Amherst and Clarence. The surrounding area was originally known as Transit Station, which comes from the old New York Central Railway tracks that ran across U.S. Route 78, locally known as Transit Road. Today, it is the headquarters of the local fast food chain Mighty Taco, as well as the headquarters of the Williamsville Central School District, which serves the community.
Buffalo OB/GYN also serves the East Amherst, NY community, providing compassionate care and services to women during all stages of life. Our services include heavy period treatment, in-office ultrasounds, menopause care, and vaginal rejuvenation. Whether it’s a preventive measure such as a screening for cervical or breast cancer, or a vaginal remodeling procedure to help with conditions such as pelvic floor dysfunction, vaginal laxity, vaginal atrophy, and stress incontinence. No matter what the problem is, you can always expect to be seen by a caring professional.
Buffalo OB/GYN has regular office hours until 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so that busy patients have the opportunity to receive care. We also have one of our board-certified physicians always on call, 24 hours a day, to respond to patient concerns. Our practice also uses technology to make the experience for our patients even better, as illustrated by our state-of-the-art medical records system.
